Get rid of that phone line
and use your WebKraft High Speed Internet
connection to make all your calls. Our equipment
enables you to choose a Voice Over IP (VoIP)
provider and make calls anywhere in the US
and Canada for one low flat rate. Our High
Speed service acts as the conduit between
you and the Internet. With that connection
you can use a VoIP service of your choosing.
Don't let your phone company talk you into
bundling services and "saving money"
without having all the facts and figures.
Your phone company has hidden taxes, tarriffs,
qualifying phone plans, modem credit checks,
and other things that can make the bill higher
than they claim. With WebKraft High Speed
and your choice of VoIP provider you could
pay as little as $65 per month
for Internet service and nationwide
long distance. No hidden cost, no extra charges.
WebKraft Wireless makes no guarantees either
implied or otherwise as to how well VoIP will
work for you. Be sure to take advantage of
trial periods to see how it works before paying.
We will be working more on making VoIP better
over our network in the near future.
Traditionally, a phone conversation is converted
into electronic signals that traverse an elaborate
network of switches, in a dedicated circuit
that lasts the duration of a call. In Voice
over Internet Protocol, a conversation is
converted to packets of data that travel over
the Internet or private networks, just like
e-mails or web pages, though voice packets
get priority status. The packets get reassembled
and converted to sound on the other end of
the call.
The phone features, services, and benefits
vary from one provider to another. For more
information on a particular VoIP provider
visit their website. This list is not intended
to be complete or a recommendation from WebKraft
either way. The VoIP provider is an individual
decision to be made by the customer. Be sure
to ask about 911 service and number portablility
when speaking to a representative. Some companies
offer some variation of 911 service while
others offer nothing at all. Some companies
can't move your current number to the new
service while others can. Be aware that your
security system and/or pay per view satellite
system may not work properly with VoIP. Contact
your alarm company or satellite provider for
details.
