The Motorola Canopy 9000SM is used on your house or business to send and receive data through the wireless network. This unit uses DES encryption to ensure the data is safe while being transmitted. It operates at 900MHz and can penetrate the tree canopy to get a signal. The 9000SM is small in size, only 20"x12" and weighs only 12 pounds. This unit can receive a signal from our tower up to 40 miles away but we limit our service to 20 miles to ensure a good quality connection through bad weather. This enables us to maintain a good connection, with low latency back to our fiber which ties directly to the Internet.. Click here to see the 9000SM spces.

The Morola Canopy 9000SMC (Connectorized) is also another viable option of us to use. The difference is that it is smaller, lighter (1lb.) and can have a light weight antenna with better tree penetration installed seperate from the radio. The range and specs are nearly identical as it's 9000SM counterpart but the external antenna is the big difference here.
